        1. Navigate to your WordPress dashboard.
        2. Go to WP Safe Zone > Settings > Firewall Settings.
        3. Toggle on Preventing Unwanted Attempts .

        Best Practices

        • Monitor Notifications: Regularly check email notifications to stay informed about potential unauthorized access attempts.
        • Educate Users: Inform users about the importance of strong passwords and safe login practices.

        Troubleshooting

        Legitimate Users are Locked Out

        • Review Lockout Settings: Ensure the maximum login attempts and lockout duration are not too restrictive.
        • Whitelist Trusted IPs: Add the IP addresses of trusted users to a whitelist to prevent them from being locked out.

        Not Receiving Notification Alerts

        • Check Email Settings: Ensure the email address for notifications is entered correctly on WordPress admin settings and the notifications are enabled on the plugin.
        • Spam Folder: Check your email’s spam or junk folder for the notification emails.

        Multiple Lockouts from Same IP

        • Investigate the Source: If the same IP address is repeatedly getting locked out, investigate the source to determine if it’s a legitimate user with login issues or a potential security threat.
